Pitching Update

I got asked to send in chapters and a synopsis.

<pause for happy dancing>

I'm very excited about this.  I spent most of today getting everything ready to send in.  Double checking spelling and grammar and punctuation and all those things which are really embarrassing to get wrong.  It took me a very long time to get my synopsis down to the two page limit.  I'm grateful they allow those pages to be single spaced.  Otherwise the synopsis would read: Stuff happened.  Then other stuff.  Then some more stuff.  Then there was a plot twist.  And a satisfying conclusion.

I've done my best to make sure everything is as professional looking as possible.  With luck, I haven't overlooked any newbie errors.  This will probably be the most nerve-wracking part.

I believe in my story.  I think it's good and I think it's one people will want to read.  I've worked very hard on it and I'm hoping that it will pay off.

But meanwhile, I'm going to stick with the celebratory happy dancing.
